be mindful while you concentrate ?

It's hard enough to concentrate ...

To be mindful that you are focusing ...

.. .simply too complicated ?

It just looks at whatever is passing through the mind and it does not categorize. Distractions and interruptions are noticed with the same amount of attention as the formal objects of meditation. ....."
